We are excited to announce our End-of-Summer 2024 Co-Ed Youth League! Come join this amazing program for boys and girls ages 9 to 17! 
This is a 12-week program with an end-of-season tournament. Practices will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays with matches on Saturdays. 

League Enrollment (1 practice, 2 games per week) $90/per 6 wks. - Total cost $180

The fee covers the cost of a Vortex shirt, awards, and officials.
          Players must provide their own shorts, shoes, and kneepads.

EVALUATION DATES & TIMES

Monday, August 12th
    9/10s  – 5:30 – 6:30pm
   11/12s  – 6:30 – 7:30pm

Tuesday, August 13th
   13/14s  – 5:30 – 6:30pm
   15-17s  – 7:30 – 8:30pm

Location: 100 Business Depot Drive, Ringgold, GA 30736

Evaluations:
 - Evaluations will consist of multiple volleyball skills including serving, passing, and setting.
 - Evaluation scores will be the basis for determining which team a player will be assigned to and are 
    vital to creating fair and balanced teams.
 - Only registered players will be evaluated.
 - Parents should stay during the evaluation process.
 - Players should wear kneepads and tennis shoes to evaluations.
 - Age group is determined by the athletes age at evaluation.
 - Athletes who turn 18 during any portion of the season are not permitted in the league.

Saturday Match Days are as follows:

 - August 17th
 - August 24th
 - August 31st
 - September 7th
 - September 14th
 - September 21st
 - September 28th
 - October 5th
 - October 12th
 - October 19th
 - October 26th
End-of-Season Tournament: November 2nd

Each team is guaranteed two matches each Saturday

Schedules will be posted by Tuesday for that Saturday's match. 

All games will be played at the Ringgold Vortex Volleyball Center.

Coaching will be on a volunteer only basis from parents or those in the community who are interested.

Team Formation:

Team formation is the process of the coaches and the Vortex Staff in placing all the players on teams.

Evaluation scores are used to rank players and are used to ensure teams are formed fairly and evenly.

Team formations will take place on Wednesday the 14th. If you have specific needs for your athlete to be with a specific coach, please fill out a special request form here.

No changes can be made after the teams have been formed.


Vortex Volleyball Leagues could not exist without the support of parents who volunteer to support their athlete. That's why we offer a 50% discount off of regular price to anyone who steps up to coach (depending on available coaching slots). And don't worry, you will have lots of support available if you are a little nervous!

We will also be offering ONE free registration for coaches that also sign up to ref at the league games this season.

Only ONE discount will be given per team.  Only head coaches will receive the discount. If both coaches have a kid on the team, only one coach (the head coach) will receive the discount.
