'24-'25 Tryout Information

Tryouts registration will open May 1, 2024 and close on July 11th. You must sign in to your account to register for tryouts.  After signing in as a registered user (or creating an account if you are a new user), you can add your dependent athlete to your profile and then register for tryouts.  
 

ATTENTION

Registration for our tryouts is free.  The fee for the tryout is $50 CASH ONLY at the door when you come to tryouts. All registrants will receive a Vortex T-shirt that must be worn each day of the tryout process.
After tryout registration has closed, the pay-at-the-door without prior registration cost will be $65.  If you are interested in coming after the registration window has closed, please email amy@vortexvolleyball.com

 

WHAT TO BRING:

  • USAV Medical Form (This does NOT have to be notarized, but it does need to be filled out before you come to help us move through the process quickly)
  • Proof of your USAV membership  (If you do not have one, visit SRVA.org to purchase a tryout membership.  If you played club anywhere last year, your current USAV membership will work fine for this year's try-outs.)

Informational Meetings:

We will have an informational meeting on July 6th at 6pm at the Vortex Volleyball Center.  This meeting will cover all of the information you will need for the upcoming season. It is a great place to ask any questions you may have about the try-out protocol or procedures and to find out what we envision for this year's club season.  We hope you'll join us! 

Makeup Tryouts:
We WILL be holding make-up tryouts for all age groups.  However, we know that July is a month full of vacations for families.  If you find your child cannot attend any of these dates, please email us at amy@vortexvolleyball.com and we can try to work with your schedule for your child to come in and be seen by our coaches.
